Leslie graduated from Baylor University in May of 2006.  Prior to entering the field of speech-language pathology, she was a certified teacher with six years of teaching experience with ages preschool to sixth grade. 

 

As a graduate clinician at Baylor University, Leslie served in the Language & Literacy’s “Camp Success” program which targets pre-reading and reading skills in school age children.  During her clinical internship, she evaluated infant swallowing at Children’s Hospital in Dallas.  During her training at Baylor she achieved clinical practicum experience with adult swallowing and cognitive rehabilitation.
