Marie Belgodere, M.S. CCC-SLP Bi-Lingual Speech Language PathologistMarie, a bilingual speech–language pathologist, graduated from the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus with a Master's in Speech & Language Pathology. She has more than 13 years combined experience in several school districts in the Fort Worth and Central Texas areas.
Other job experiences include: Early Childhood Intervention, Head Start, and bilingual consultant. Currently, she is actively involved with the Cultural and Linguistic Diversity Task Force of the Texas Speech-Hearing Association (TSHA). In 2006, Marie received a certificate of appreciation for her service and involvement with TSHA. She has also participated in several assessment standardization studies including the CELF-3 & CELF-4 (Spanish Editions). Additionally, she co-authors a “Question and Answer” section regarding bilingual issues in the “Communicologist”, a publication for Texas speech – language pathologists.
