Readers Theater With A Twist is a four week summer reading camp for children 3rd – 4th grade. The camp is conducted by a master reading teacher. Readers Theater is designed to develop reading fluency, reading comprehension and vocabulary skills.  This camp teaches children strategies to become independent thinkers and readers. Specific comprehension strategies are taught and developed during this camp as children are required to analyze and identify key elements within a passage. This camp is limited to 12 campers who are divided into two groups of six students.  Homework is minimal for this camp.   Parents may register their child up for one or both summer sessions of Readers Theater With A Twist.   A pre-test is not conducted.
